How do you endure the updates?

Hi everybody!

This is a question for addon's creators and all server administrators !

Since three days I try to update my spigot server to 1.11.2 with skript and its addons. Until there, everything is ok! All addons work well.

But, 99% of my scripts are dead... A lot of syntaxes has been changed or deleted. I can't endure this at each update... How do you do with updates? A trick? :emoji_stuck_out_tongue:
 
Well, in my case I do my script on a localhost server in the latest version possible, then I test my script on the others version for see if something conflicts on other version, if you do it on that way, you shouldn't have any problems on update. Also, you have to know which addons aren't broken or not supported anymore, there's a lot of people that still uses Umbaska 2, skAction, PirateSK (which is now merged on SharpSK (funny that the pirate was merged on the sharp, lol ok, bad joke, I know)), GameBuSK, ExtrasSK, SkMorkaz (which is being merged to BunchSK), skRambled, ExertSK (which is being merged to BunchSK) and other addons that are broken or/and unsupported.

I only use skQuery (which isn't being officially supported anymore but you know), skUtilities, MundoSK (believe me that you can do a LOT of things with this addon), Skellett (even if I don't like it at all haha), Reqn, skStuff and TuSKe. You can do a lot of things with only that addons.

Yes I see. But it is an huge work :/
I use the same addons nearly : MundoSk, SharpSk, SkStuff, Skellett, SkQuery, skUtilities, TuSke, Umbaska, skRayFall, and skUtilities now.
But like I said, I need to re-write all my scripts because of internal syntaxes modifications on addons :'(
