Hey zzEdu, I’m interested in the optimization work.

I’ve been writing Skript for years, and I’m currently in college for cybersecurity and networking. I’m used to tracking down what’s slowing a system down and fixing it properly.

To start, I’d look at where the lag is coming from, using Spark or Timings to find the heavy scripts. Then I’d fix the usual causes: loops over all players or entities, repeated checks that should be cached, and unnecessary wait and every tick events. I’d also clean up the structure and make sure nothing breaks.

Could you send me:

• your Skript version and server version (Paper, Spigot, etc.)
• the scripts that cause the most lag, or a Spark report
• roughly how many scripts and lines we’re talking about

Once I’ve seen them I’ll give you a flat price. For a job like this I’d expect around CAD $50 total, instead of hourly, so you know the cost upfront. I’m happy to start right away since you need it fast.
