Custom item projectile

Skript version: 2.5.3
Mc version: 1.11.2

I need to create item that i will throw like spear. Item will hit enemies and damage them or apply effects. But i dont know how to damage enemies with that. (just with the wither skull, arrow or snowball).



on right click with diamond hoe:
if name of player's held item is "weapon":
make the player shoot an item projectile of 1 nether star at speed 2

All I know is:

on damage:
    if projectile is a snowball:
        damage the victim by 2 hearts
