Solved Ban player doesn't work?

2.2-Fixes-V8b

Super simple, literally when I ban a player with the syntax
ban player because "he is an idiot"
(which is from the docs btw, just to totally make sure it's not my fault XD)
Nothing happens.
It never actually bans the player.
No errors. Just don't work.

Ban the player just does not kick the player at the moment
