Better AI, simple zones, and deeper immersion
skGull is a high-performance utility addon designed to give Skript developers more "under-the-hood" control without the headache of complex math. Whether you are building an RPG, a tactical shooter, or a custom minigame, skGull provides the tools to make your world feel alive and reactive.
---
Intelligent AI & Pathfinding
Force mobs to follow specific paths or patrol in loops. Unlike standard pathfinding, skGull is "combat-aware"—mobs will automatically pause their patrol to engage a target and seamlessly resume their route once the fight is over.
The Zone System
Forget checking coordinates manually. Create named cuboid regions and use simple `on zone enter` and `on zone exit` events. It’s optimized to be lightweight, even with multiple players crossing boundaries at once.
Advanced Sensory Events
Track exactly what players are looking at with `on see`, `on look`, and `on looking`. These events include built-in line-of-sight checks, so players can't "see" entities through walls or floors.
Sphere Raycasting (Forgiving Hits)
Standard raycasts are pixel-perfect and hard to hit. skGull uses "thick" sphere raycasting, projecting a volume from the player's eyes. This makes it easy to detect what a player is aiming at, making guns, spells, and interactions feel smooth and modern.
World & Item Utilities
Includes tools to toggle door power states, force items to look "shiny" or "dull" (supporting both modern 1.21+ glints and legacy fallbacks), and manage looping ambient sounds.
