Sorry, but this will be a long question because I need to explain how it theoretically would work.
Okay so heres the big idea:
-Create a resource pack and change the texture of a block, but give it an animated texture with many various block faces you want.
-Create a skript that allows you to select which state the block is in so it only displays a certain texture in the animation.
The goal of this is to allow anyone to make many different blocks without ruining blocks already in the game.
An example just incase this still doesn't make sense;
Say this is your texture:
Now if you were to change the blocks state, I think it will change which texture is actively selected since the block is an animated block it would cycle through each texture just like water and lava.
You could theoretically create new blocks by doing this, only 1 problem.
Is this even possible to do?
