variables won't save after restart

    Hey, variables won't save after restart and i'm trying to make an MOTD script.

    bump help please, variables is a common thing i use in scripts and now because of this i can barely make scripts.

    So after some research, I found some other SkUnity posts that relate to variables getting deleted on restart
    Code (Text):

    5. [23:38:25] [Server thread/INFO]: [Skript] Created a backup of variables.csv as variables_2018-09-24_23-38-25.csv
    6. [23:38:25] [Server thread/ERROR]: #!#!
    7. [23:38:25] [Server thread/ERROR]: #!#! Skript will work properly, but old variables might not be available at all and new ones may or may not be saved until Skript is able to create a backup of the old file and/or is able to connect to the database (which requires a restart of Skript)!

    If you check your server logs, and find something that is similar to the above logs, then you should delete your variables.csv file. Disclaimer, this will completely delete all your variables.

    I deleted it and now my variables file doesn't exist and will not re-create itself.
    I'll try to re-create it but all I did is create a new one, and now it's full of weird characters.
    do you have the default generated variables file?

    I can't manually edit csv files and it's full of weird characters,,,

    Honestly it's weird to begin with that your variables are getting deleted. If the problem persists you should report a bug at https://github.com/SkriptLang/Skript/issues.
