Can you set a suffix to variable using the command /nte group owner suffix (variable)?
 
Code: 
on command:
  if full command is "nte group owner suffix":
    set {_var} to "%full command%"
    replace all "nte group owner suffix " with "" in {_var}
    # your outcome is {_var}
