Getting the contents of a log

    So, say I logged something, like
    log "bananas" to "log.log"

    Is there a way I can get this information back out?
    Like,
    set {var} to first line of "log.log"
    so that {var} would be equal to bananas

    No, there is not.
    If you are wanting to save/read data like that, use yaml files (ie: skript-yaml)
