    Compass with blockdistance

    I've been dealing with scripting for a while now but haven't dealt with function yet and haven't found anything else.... I would like to have a variable for the block distance of the next player... and best the compass needle point on the player would something like this be possible to script...

    Solved set {_loc} to 3 blocks west of {location} ---- (how?!?)

    so i am making minigames skript and i want to set a location near another location. it works for teleporting players to a location near the variable Teleport player 3 blocks west {location} but i cant figure out how to set a variable near a location of another variable
