What happend with Njol (Original skript creator)?

I'm kinda curious of what happend with Njol, did he just lose interest in his project or is there a deeper reason?

I think he simply abandoned the project

You can tell by his github https://github.com/Njol?tab=repositories that he still at least sometimes does some coding. According to his website: https://en.njol.ch/ he's a master of informatics (mastered in programming at a german university). Maybe he'd respond to a nicely written email!

Nevermind the email, his homepage states about Skript:

I have worked on Skript several years before finally abandoning it, mostly since I hadn't played Minecraft for more than a year back then. There is at least one community fork so far that continues development though.
