    A bit confused. are you trying to make a custom recipe for a stick? Or are you looking to just set the slot to a stick and make a recipe separate to that

    you can just use the set slot expression for this. Though if you want to do a gui, then either format slot(skquery I think) or make gui slot(tuske).
    Tuske is preferred as format slot is very buggy.
    The addon tuske has an in depth tutorials of it's gui setup.
    and set slot can be found with examples in the docs

    i use skellett and i didnt know how to set slot 1 in anvile
