How to send a message to those players who are at a certain distance from the player?​

For those who happen to have the same issue, you just have to use the entities in radius expression in combination of the send message effect like this:
code_language.skript: 
send "whatever" to players in radius 5 of player
Or even better, using the where filter:
code_language.skript: 
send "whatever" to all players where [distance between input and player is 5]
