the abs() function works like so:
Code: 
set {_x} to -5
set {_x} to abs({_x})
send "&c%{_x}%" # sends 5
I want to do the opposite of abs() and make 5 into -5

`{_x} * -1` will make a positive number negative, and a negative number positive
