I'm struggling with finding the name of an item in an inventory slot. Here's what I have.
I'm trying to create a special type of crafting, where you put 3 items in 3 different slots in a 1-line chest. (specifically slots 0, 2 and 8). How I'm going about this right now:
Player clicks green clay in the middle of the inventory, it starts a function checking for the items in the 3 slots. Problem is, when using this: (I'm using old functions, can't figure out the new ones)

slot 0 of {_p}'s current inventory

I can't get the name of the item. It only returns as either the item name or ID(in some cases). It's as if it doesn't even exist(the name) and it just saves the item as a string. I can't:
    1) parse as anything
    2) get "name of slot etc."
    3) get name otherwise with what I've tried

How could I do this? As in, get the name of an item the player has put into an opened inventory after clickin on an item in that same inventory? It really seems not to like me.
