This script is probably overly complex but serves as a fairly simple lottery system that draws every time x seconds have passed. Players buy tickets which you can set a maximum of and when the timer reaches 0 and winner is picked from everyone who bought tickets. Obviously, chance of winning increases with the amount of tickets you buy.
