Actually, there is a way to do this if you're just comparing single objects and you have skQuery without it being so ugly. The following should work:

code_language.skript:
if ({_test} == true) or ({_test-2} <= 5): #for "or" aka ||
  #your code

if check [player is alive]->[weather isn't thunderstorm]: #for "and" aka &&, supports any condition, not just comparing
Regardless, I don't recommend doing this, it'll just make parse time slower for you script.
