Code not working

I made a skript code, but when i always reload it , it never gives me any errors, but it also doesn't work !
i don't know if this is something caused because of a plugin .. please help me !!

if you use variables and a variable isn't the type you need to use it will do that.
An example could be:

command /test:
    trigger:
        set {_item} to "silver dollar"
        give {_item} to the player
