Nametag without Wildskript?

Is it possible to give a player a nametag without wild script? :/

Using Armor stands, invisible slimes and skript mirror. Make a slime ride an armor stand that is ridden by a player. kill the armor stand (not with skript syntax) make the slime invisible and name it.

I think something like this will work

You don't even need Skript, to make your name a specific color!
You can use the Scoreboard command!

First: /scoreboard teams add [group]
Second: /scoreboard teams option [group] color [yourcolor!]
third: /scoreboard teams join [group] [player]

But that cannot give a prefix in tab :/
